OMG! I got the old WP back on.

I made a mistake by clicking on the new editor, and got royally screwed. Poor Mattie (nocturnal twins), he tried to help me and I couldn’t access the old classic editor. I went to it just now, and got the same new face on the screen and I  clicked on the three dots to the right and it asked if I wanted the classic editor, I jumped on it and clicked it, and guess what? It again went on to show the new editor, with no options for the media or special characters. For more than 24 hours I kept fidgeting with it, and just now I clicked on those same dang three dots and a panel opened up and asked if I wanted to upload WP? What the heck? I was already logged in to WP, so why should it ask that question? Anyway I clicked on that, and Voila! I got my old faithful back. Phew! I was sure I would have to forego this site like we did xanga. I will try to post some of my recent Arabic Calligraphic paintings and other things via my cell phone. Hope that goes through.

I can’t tell you how happy I am, to be here again. Thank you Matt. Love you.

I was able to switch back too. I tried and hated the new one – even blogged about it!

  4. I tried the new one but could not figure out how to use it. I’m glad you were able to get it to work.

It asked me the last time if I wanted to switch. Couldn’t be bothered. But I guess sooner or later the new editor will be the default.

  6. I’m so glad it worked out for you!
It’s been a mess for most everyone lately.

  7. All of the systems are changing such wp but also the tools of Microsoft I used for the photos and the videos. All of this becomes hard.

Don’t you have all your xanga posts saved in your archives? I hope you do. Every so often I go there and resume my nostalgia there.

  9. I know, right? I was the same way. 😉
