A Few of my Paintings.

I have been painting a lot. Every single night in fact! This is so therapeutic, and I am loving it . Three of my paintings are on display at the local University’s Library. Personally I think I am coming along rather well. Here they are.

I painted the bird last night. It needs a soft background, and I will put that in tonight.

This is acrylic on paper. Got it out of Pinterest.

The above two I did on tiles, with alcohol ink. Made several like these and gave them to the kids for Christmas.

These two above have a metallic back ground and I painted them with Guache. I love the Cranes. I have another one of the cranes which is different.

This is called The Last Wink! This one is on display at the library.

Hope you guys like them too.

these are all so beautiful. I paint to, my favorite mediums are acrylic and watercolor, I love the richness of oils but so messy and takes so long to dry. You have a true gift!

My goodness — and you’ve only been doing this for a year or so?! They look as if you are a seasoned painter (I started to say seasoned artist, but we know you are that!). I love the bird paintings — can almost hear the song bird singing, and the cranes are so expressive. And the last one is beautiful! I would say you are coming along rather well!!!

Nice! I especially like the cranes. It was such a good idea to use your Iris painting on your holiday cards. Very pretty.

Oh! You noticed the Iris painting! Thank you Dian. I take photographs of every painting I do, and send them out as cards, or make prints of the paintings and send them out, just as I did at Christmas. I too like the cranes. Thank you! Muah.

Love the last one. So breath taking.

  6. Oh wow – you’re so talented. I love the colours. My mom also painted and I think she also found it very relaxing. Her only issue was our cat who liked to hop on the table and sit on her painting.
